Orientation & tool safety
A walkthrough of the space, the tools, and the house rules — the on-ramp for every other session.
demonstration content · a fictional workshop series
A free, drop-in workshop series — six Saturdays this season, one skill each, open to any level. Come for the one that looks interesting, or come for all six.
Demonstration content for a template showcase — Taller Abierto, its sessions, and its space are fictional, not a real event.
01 · about
Drop in for one session or all six — there’s no course to enroll in, just a Saturday morning and something to start. Each session stands on its own, runs about two hours, and ends with something you made or fixed yourself.

02 · sessions
Six Saturdays, six skills. Pick one, or come to all of them.
A walkthrough of the space, the tools, and the house rules — the on-ramp for every other session.
Measure, cut, and sand a small project by hand — no power tools, just patience and a straight edge.
Thread a machine, sew a straight seam, and fix a hem. Bring a garment that needs mending, if you have one.
Fix a flat, adjust your brakes, and true a wobbly wheel. Bring your own bike, or borrow one of ours.
Pull your first print and fold a zine to carry it in. Join in person, or follow the livestream from home.
Bring whatever’s broken — a lamp, a chair, a zipper — and fix it beside someone who’s done it before.
